Sorry it took so long but I sort of did some practice/experiments in Photoshop while I was doing it. I kinda made it my holiday project, so I hope it turned out alright. I have learned one thing from doing this pic & that is how much I suck at doing lineart on the computer T_T ...aaah well.

i think u can improve on that by defining the edge of the colours. Whether u want to blend between 2 colours or have a clear define. The fire is too blend. You can hv hard shading fire at front and blur blend at the back to create some perspective. just some little advise :) Keep it up
